But the really exciting feature is the puffed long sleeves. The cuffs feature three buttons and fit snuggly at the wrists to minimize gapping. The delicate fabric is buttery-soft, flowy, and simply delightful to wear.

I have been looking for modest dresses that are stylish and trendy. I was SO happy to have stumbled upon Poet. I ordered 3 different styles of dresses and was absolutely thrilled with what showed up at my door days later! They fit SO well - I think they would be flattering on any body type. And the owner has been absolute delight. There is nothing like these dresses on Amazon. They are truly unique and stand out and well made.
I originally ordered my usual size (XS; I'm 5'2", 34" chest, about 116 lbs), which also should have worked based on my measurements. When it arrived, it fit perfectly everywhere except the sleeves - I couldn't get the cuffs to button. I was so sad to have to send it back for an exchange, but customer service was great and shipping expenses were covered. The next size up still fits me well, just with a little room. The cuffs are still a bit of a squeeze. I do love the dress anyway- classy, vintage-inspired design, super twirly, comfortable! I have a few suggestions to make it a 5 star: obvious one, but make the cuffs a little less snug. I LOVE the concept of the balloon sleeves going into the tight cuffs, but the dimensions are just a little off (I preferred the fit of the XS if not for the sleeves). Next, I would love for them to add pockets! A smocked back would be nice too for added comfort, or an elastic waist. Overall, excited about this company and love the sweet touch of a poem included in every order <3
This is an adorable, comfortable, and modest dress! I needed to size up because the wrist circumference is very small, but the new dress fits perfectly. The exchange process was efficient and simple, and customer service has been excellent.
This dress is beautiful, the puff sleeves and square neckline are feminine. The issue I have with this dress is the poor quality in relation to the high price. The fabric is paper thin and sheer, unfortunately similar to Shein fabric.
Hey Kathrine! I’m glad that you liked the dress overall. I appreciate your feedback about the fabric. We chose that fabric because of how light and flowing it is but it is one of our most expensive fabrics. The bodice is lined and, when it’s on, the two layers of skirt prevents the light from passing through too much. I can see how someone would like to add a slip for extra though. The shape of this is so flattering and dreamy. I wish the sleeves were a bit shorter or easier to roll up (maybe add tie or snap?), but overall I would buy this dress in all of the colors in my season (summer- muted cool tones) if I could! Im really looking forward to seeing what you come out with next. <3
