Villanelle Dress | Peach Midi Dress

I wear a size small, but I know not all clothes are made the same so I contacted them on what size they recommended and small was chosen for me, sadly it was not the right size for my frame. It was too large in waist and bust, so it’s a big baggy, not one I would wear in public and feel pretty.
You can see how loose it sits on my body in video, and how sheer it is so if you don’t have a slip… well.

The fabric is very thin and requires a slip underneath. Where I live that is very hot. I love the pattern, fit, and neckline. I hope the fabric washes up well

Really like the color and style of this dress. It is the perfect midi length in a delightfully soft fabric. However the fit is a bit off for me. I ordered a M, the waist is too tight (but I can zip it) and the neckline & shoulders are too big, falling off my shoulders and is floppy on the neckline instead of laying flat. To me the waist fits like a S and the top fits like a L. I might wear it with a jacket to cover the loose top because the skirt is so cute, but I'd like to be able to show the cute puff sleeves as well. This is the second Poet dress I've bought that does not fit a typical S, M, and L sizing.

Ladies...the COLOR. The color is divine! The cut is simple and classic, which makes for countless styling options. I love that it could be dressed up or dressed down for different occasions. And the lightweight nature of the material and its texture are lovely-- I could spin and spin and spin all day when I'm wearing it, even in the heat. The only downside was that it ran a bit big on me, but even so, the way that the fabric lays made it look intentional. This dress will fill a gap in your wardrobe, I promise you that.
