This is my second Poet Dress and my second hymn dress--I got my first hymn dress in dark green, and I love it so much. I knew I wanted to get another hymn dress in another color.
Five stars for quality. There's a nice metallic snap at the top of this one.
It was only after getting this one in the mail that I realized the side zipper in Both dresses actually comes down to the base of the pocket and not just to the top of the pocket. I didn't realize it went down that low! Very nice.
I could not decide if the color shade of pink was right for me or not, but I couldn't stop trying the dress on again and still wanted to wear it, and I do like the color. I'm not sure if it's the best color shade of pink for my skin tone (I'm still trying to learn about color seasons and what colors go best with my skin) but when I put a dark green scarf with the dress, that helped to style it and I think it looks good. I'm also not as used to wearing a lot of pink, but I like this shade of pink because it's not super bright and it's almost a therapeutic color. It'll also be nice to have for Valentine's Day.
I still love the dark green dress best for me, but I like this one too and will certainly be wearing it for fun. It's nice to have a second hymn dress.
I would love the hymn dress in a light blue or light purple/violet/lavender, and I would love more light blue (Wendy/Alice/Cinderella) dress options.
I just have to stop myself from buying more dresses right now even though there are several ones I'm interested in. It's just so refreshing to find great quality dresses like these with (deep!) pockets and cotton/linen natural materials that feel great to wear.
