Hymn Dress in Blush | Pink Cotton Dress

I bought the dress and later was contacted by the company stating that there was mistake with the material and it wasn’t 100% linen. I normally wouldn’t have spent so much on a cotton dress so I had to decide whether or not I wanted to go through with the order. I’m so very glad I did! This is a princess dress. You can wear it to church or dinner without it being too much but you will feel like the princess that you are! Every woman should have this dress.

I spur of the moment decided to purchase the Hymn dress in both Green and Blush thinking I would return one after seeing the colors in person. I have an aversion to shopping online for clothing as it hardly ever fits correctly once it arrives, and thus the return hassle begins. However, this dress was such a different story! I felt so comfortable and beautiful in it! My usual ill fitting areas of hips and bust were no issue at all. The adjustable back allows for more or less breathing room given the day. I ended up keeping both colors since I can easily foresee wearing these on a much more regular basis than I had anticipated! Every time I have worn these dresses, I have received compliments. I truly have not felt this good about myself in clothing in years.

This is now the most beautiful dress in my closet! The dress has been meticulously designed in every way. The buttons, hidden zipper, corset back and pockets make this functional and flattering on different body types. The color is soft and elegant and the fabric falls effortlessly and is so high-quality. There is no sacrificing comfort for style here—you could sleep in this dress! Poet exceeded my every expectation!

This dress is exquisitely designed, figure-enhancing and feminine in my exactly preferred style. I am 5'1" with a low waist/hips ratio and small bust; I ordered a size small and was delighted to find that the bodice was both comfortable and appropriately contoured, with the corset lacing in back allowing for extra fit adjustment. The only cautionary comment I would offer shorter ladies like myself is in the skirt length; I was concerned, looking at the measurements online, that it would be too long for my height, and when the dress arrived, it did **just** clear the floor with shoes on. Longer skirts are fine with me, but it barely escapes being impractical.

Material is sturdy and indicates the likelihood of wearing well; pockets of course deserve a mention; packaging comes with an extra button and clasp.

In summary, I'm delighted with this purchase and plan to look up Poet Dresses again in the future... eyeing the Sonnet item in particular.
