Hymn Dress in Forest | Green Cotton Dress

I purchased this dress last year while pregnant, knowing I would have to wait to wear it. I finally fit in the dress and it is beautiful and overall feels well constructed. I love that the neckline is modest.

However, the button holes for the self-covered buttons are too large, so those are constantly coming undone, the buttons are loose, and today (my third time wearing it) the snaps started falling off. This dress has great potential if they can fix the front placket. I'm trying to decide what to do to make this work because the dress is so comfortable and flattering and I have only worn it three times. Maybe a hidden zipper and faux buttons?
